US Terra Madre Network

Terra Madre is an international network of food producers, cooks, educators and students from 150 countries who are united by a common goal of global sustainability in food. The "food communities" of Terra Madre come together biennially to share innovative solutions and time-honored traditions for keeping small-scale agriculture and sustainable food production alive and well.


The Terra Madre Conference

WHERE: Torino, Italy

HOW: Delegates were selected via an application process. The application period to be an observer has also now closed

WHAT: Terra Madre is an international conference that gathers sustainable food producers, farmers, cooks, educators and activists from around the world to connect and share their stories and traditions, as well as their innovative solutions for keeping small-scale agriculture and sustainable food production alive and well. Delegates come from over 150 countries.

The Salone del Gusto - the world's largest artisanal food marketplace - is held concurrently, in part for delegates to gain a deeper sense of how small-scale sustainable producers can market their products effectively. General admission tickets to Salone can be purchased in advance or at the door-- please note that special ticketed events at Salone usually sell out well in advance.
